MIGUEL NOSTAS
Nostas'story begins with Miguel, a visionary who, in 1910, found himself crafting his future in the vibrant heart of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Amid the scent of spices and the vivid allure of colours, he established his empire. A bustling fabric bazaar became the heartbeat of a family of ten children, symbolising the ethos of risking everything to realise one's passions and dreams.
1945 — ITALY AND BOLIVIA CONVERGE

PIETRO DE ANGELIS
In the backdrop of post-war Italy, Pietro De Angelis, a dual graduate from Sapienza University in Rome with degrees in law and physics, opts to forsake a predetermined future as a judge in favour of his fervent passion for physics. In 1945, he ventured to South America in search of broader horizons, accepting modest beginnings that would later become stepping stones to prominence.
In Bolivia, Pietro not only established a distinguished career as a physics university professor but also intertwined his destiny with the Nostas family through his marriage to Dora, Miguel's daughter. Their children, Hermes and Miriam, raised in the nexus of two cultures, inherited Pietro’s resolve that true fulfilment lies in pursuing one’s dreams, sometimes requiring the courage to defy conventional paths and say no when needed.

HERMES DE ANGELIS NOSTAS
Inspired by his father's tales of Italy's cultural richness and beauty, in the late 1990s Hermes, with only $500, a one-way ticket and an uncertain future, embarked on a journey back to his roots. In Rome he met Ombretta, sparking a profound love story that would gift him Francesco and Luca, who grew to embrace in order to follow their dreams.

Francesco Nostas
In 2017, Francesco stepped into the realm of luxury with a jewellery line. However, his true passion was revealed through his work with handcrafted watch straps and belts, inspiring him to launch his own watch brand.

PASSION FIRST
In 2019, with his family’s support, Francesco launched the first Nostas watch collection, a creative tribute to his rich family history. His subsequent studies in product design at IED Rome equipped him with conscious creativity.

At VicenzaOro, the prestigious jewellery and watch exhibition, Francesco introduced for the first time AUDACE — a collection that encapsulates the adventurous and resilient spirit passed down through Nostas generations.
